The Beads went out!

I finally got all the beads for Beads of Courage finished!!  and SENT out this weekend!

I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get them done and sent….

I also had a dear friend of mine  want to help and bought beads from me to send out for her….  Thank you Eva! 

then look at this breathtaking sun rise!!  This was Friday morning, the 22nd…..  I want to think of it as God’s Gift for me….  Three years ago on the 22nd of February my grandfather passed away.  He and my grandmother helped raised my sister and I.  My mom was a single parent and they took care of us while she was at work.  It is always hard this time of year, just because I miss him so much…. So, I walked the kids to the door to send them off on their way to school and what do I see….

isn’t it just breathtaking?!!  All I could say was ….

“Thank you Lord for painting me such a wonderful picture this morning.  Of all mornings that I needed a little lift, you knew….   Thank you for Loving me enough to give this to me!”

 I just had to share with you… even when life gets you down, there is always something wonderful waiting for you right around the corner…. all we have to do is open our eyes to see….

How to make a teddy bear!

I have been asked a few time on how I make my teddies, well, I finally got around to doing a picture tutorial.   They are so much fun to make and add extras to.  I love adding hats, scarves, hearts and flowers… you name it!  They are just so much fun to create.

Love is in the air…. and Hearts, and Roses too!!

I am still in denial about what time of year it is….. I am still trying to figure out my New Years Resolution….. maybe it is not to have one? LOL!!  It’s just hard to believe that Valentines Day is right around the corner. 

I have been thinking of it though…. most of the time, I am a day late and a dollar short, but this year I actually have started on a few projects and may even get them ready before Valentines!

Here are the “love” beads that I made up:

these still have a lot of work yet to be done on them!

They are all still in the works…. still on the table for finishing up… they are beads for BEADS OF COURAGE…. (if you haven’t donated beads, maybe you should!! – it’s a real good cause!) 

I have also been busy working on Rose buds!!  I had a customer who wanted LOTS of them!!  and I am Working on Lisa’s Color Challenge again…  what a wonderful way to stay inspired… this months color is Rose (pink)  So I wanted to give some more florals a try… thinking of SPRING…. and really wanting it to come early!
